Embracing The New Music Educator is a mentoring program offered through the collaboration of MMEA Northeastern District and Gordon College.  ETNME focuses on connectivity: among those who are new to the world of music education; among those who teach in music education preparatory programs of colleges and universities; and among those mentors who wish to share their best teaching practices, wisdom and passion.
Embracing the New Music Educator has a mentoring database of thirty professionals who have volunteered their professional services to these young teachers.  It is through their time and talent that this program offers:
                    .  onsite classroom observations
                    .  onsite rehearsal clinics
.  mentoring via phone or email
                    .  video or audio review

Membership is free of charge to ALL music educators who may benefit from this resource.

Members will also be given a discounted registration fee for the workshop to be given by Chris Azzara from the Eastman School of Music and T. Clarke Saunders from the Hartt School, on Improvisation and Assessment to be held at Gordon College.

If you are a mentor or would like to become a mentor or a music educator who could benefit from this service please join us.
